One of the world’s most recognised business organisations, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry has supported British businesses for more than 120 years. Two career routes,
one portfolio
The Employed Route
Every finance team needs people who can keep records, prepare accounts and explain the numbers. LCCI qualifications map onto those roles level by level, from trainee bookkeeper through to management accountant.
The Practice Route
Bookkeeping and accounting are among the few professions where a learner can build a business of their own, with low overheads and recurring fees. Levels 1 and 2 build the capability. Level 3 opens the door to IAB Member level and practice
Learners who successfully complete three Level 2 or three Level 3 qualifications also achieve an LCCI Diploma, recognising both specialist knowledge and a broader understanding of business and finance. For your centre this is a natural way to build a full programme rather than a single certificate.
For centres, this creates an opportunity to deliver qualifications that employers recognise, learners value and businesses genuinely need.

LCCI Qualifications
You must be an IAB member before you can apply for supervision. As part of your
AML supervision application, you will also need to provide evidence that your practice
has the compliance framework required by the regulations in place.

IAB LCCI Level1 Certificate
in Bookkeeping
Ideal for school leavers, career changers, adult returners, aspiring bookkeepers
The entry point to the profession and the first qualification employers recognise on a CV. It gives you a working skill within months rather than years

IAB LCCI Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping &Accounting
For learners progressing from Level 1, or those with existing bookkeeping knowledge
Moving from a bookkeeper to a practitioner.
You’ll move from recording transactions to preparing accounts, increasing earning potential and job opportunities

Ideal for business, finance and administration learners
